Other creative things I care deeply about
Since 2020, I’ve built a production catalog and community under the beat-making alias BACOMARTINEZ. I consider music the truest form of expression– a medium I’ve adored since I could first process sound, thanks to the well-curated household tunes that I grew up hearing and continue to bump.
I draw from a wide range of inspirations; lately it’s been a melting pot of SWV, Ohbliv, J Dilla, Liv.e, Awhlee, Archy Marshall, and whatever else you may find in my Soundloud likes.

Last summer (2023), I bought a camera off one of my closest friends in a moment where I was stuck creatively. I was in the middle of my first official internship and it was grueling trying to find the time or motivation to make music that was sincere.
At this time, the only outlets I had known were design and music; picking up the camera provided the me the opportunity to shoot aimlessly– at whatever I want, without having to think too too hard. Since then, and 3 cameras later, I’ve grown my “developing photo journal” into a collection I hold dearly.
